Holiday Memory Makers

Santa and Mrs. Claus in Grand Lake

A Different Way to Arrive

Consider taking the train to Granby! Amtrak makes two daily stops at the Granby train station located parallel to downtown. Call 1-800-USA-RAIL or visit Amtrak for reservations. Once here, use The Lift, a free local regional bus system that transports people around Grand County.

A Unique Shopping Experience

Going shopping here is a whole different experience. You won’t find malls or big box stores or run-of-the-mill chain retailers here. What you will find are unique boutiques offering one-of-a-kind wares. Whether you’re shopping for gifts, Colorado-inspired souvenirs, or antiques, you’ll love browsing on the boardwalk in Grand Lake and Agate Avenue in Granby.

A Magical Day at the Museum

Choo Choo! The Moffat Road Railroad Museum in Granby is Colorado’s largest Christmas Model Train Display. New this year, the museum will also have a Caboose & Gift Shop, where you can find handcrafted ornaments and other art by local artists, railroad books, model train sets, Christmas décor, and train-themed gifts and toys. The special holiday exhibit is only open through early January, so don’t miss your chance to see it!

A Night at the Theater

Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre in Grand Lake is once again presenting! ‘Home for the Holidays,’ a festive live theater production is sure to get you into the spirit. Attend this world-class professional show in-person or stream it into your own home on Dec. 12 and 13. They will also present a special show on New Year’s Eve.
